- Summer of 2013 me and my friend will be embarking on some hedonistic kicks in the USA for 2 months, Starting in San fran - LA - Texas - New Orleans's - Memphis - Nashville and ending up in Chicago. with a few other stops along the way. Hoping to meet some like minded people on this website that can guide us to some great nights/days out, locations, markets, shops and party's. My many interests include Wine, women, song, dancing at indie discos and mod party's, photography, art, gigs. I love collecting records and vintage clothes. I love London. as for mod there really never was a scene in the us for it sadly but punk is still big and power pop a bit, forget nyc, go to williamsburg brooklyn, that is where the rockers hang out now, i have been out of greenwich village for 20 years now, everything moved to brooklyn but you wont see any two tones or mod revival stuff going on, sadly even back in the day the jam was the biggest uk mod revival band to ever play here...... i think the best part of your trip will be the west coast, the rock scene in general is much more happening out there.....

One of the places I have on my list to go to while I'm visiting London in April. I need to take in the city as much as I can before I prepare to move to England. If you have any more places shops and even events happening in April let me know! I am at a loss on the internet with meeting like minded people and finding out more about my culture. there is no scene here.
