Zoo Zoo started life back in November 2009 when the first Blues Kitchen venue opened its doors on Camden high street.
Five years later Zoo Zoo (East) at the new Blues Kitchen in Curtain road, Shoreditch opened for business.
Both venues have a great live music and DJ set up with wooden dance floors and a late licence. Both venues have famous Blues and R&B artists adorned around the walls of the venue, and you can even listen to the Blues while you refresh yourself in the toilet. It also has a wide selection of the Blues artist’s favourite Soul food, beers and bourbons on the menu.
Call: 0207 387 5277 if you want to book a table for dinner.
New Untouchables night always features two R&B/Blues/Garage/Soul or Rock n Roll bands from the London area and often beyond. Our resident band in Camden Big Boss Man consistently blow the roof of the venue. One of our favourite shows to date was with Spanish band The Faith Keepers and you can see a clip below from that show. Other artists have included King Salami & Thee Cumberland 3, The Strypes, The Turning, Les Grys-Grys, Daddy Long Legs, Hypnotic Eye, Jess Roberts, The 45’s, DC Fontana, Nick Waterhouse, The Draytones, New Street Adventure, Lewis Floyd Henry, Cat Black, Stone Foundation, The Frowning Clouds, Graham Day & the Forefathers, The Apemen, Phrogs and Magnetic Mind to name just a few. After the bands grab a space on the dance floor and do the Shimmy, Skate or Twist when DJ Dr Robert and special guest take over the turntables and spin 100% pure vintage vinyl right, from big hits to the obscure scene classics.
