Shakeup Soul Club kick-starts the Bank Holiday Weekend - gateway to a great Summer?! Maybe but whatever -Shakeup Saturdays always guarantee a hot time in the (Clapham) Old Town and Curt n Jon are delighted to welcome back one of their favourite DJs - the brilliant Chinyere Inyama - a man with more tunes than you can shake a stick at!

The Bread & Roses is a great gig & theatre venue, owned by the Battersea & Wandsworth Trades Council & run by the Workers Beer Company. The venue attracts a unique crossover audience of soulies, mods, theatre goers & locals - all the unusual suspects - making for a cracking atmosphere. But naturally the music comes first - OVO Rhythm & Soul thrillers & floor fillers delivered through a quality sound system.
