Crawdaddy! A farewell to The Wilmington Arms party

As many of you will know, The Wilmington is being turned into a gastro pub later in the year, so the venue will close down.

Which sadly means that August will see the last Crawdaddy! night at our spiritual home.

Returning to Crawdaddy! to help us to give the Wilmo a good send off are guest DJs Andy Lewis (Bassist in Paul Weller's band, Acid Jazz recording artiste and member of recently reformed Brit-poppers Pimlico) who tore the floor up last time he played... and venerable Crawdaddy! veteran Mr Rex Bendon.

Resident DJs Gary, John and Lucienne will be playing floorfillers from the likes of Jackie Wilson, The Four Tops, The Marvelettes, Edwin Starr, Martha Reeves, Otis Redding, Terry Callier, Tony Clarke, Bobby Bland, The Sonics, Fleur De Lys, Spencer Davis Group, Kinks, The Who, The Small Faces, The Specials, The Beat, The Jam, Dexys, Dusty Springfield, Prince Buster, Desmond Dekker, Harry J Allstars, Toots & The Maytals and much more... all on glorious vinyl

The good news is that a late night extention has been promised for tonight. More details of our new venue to follow soon.
