*******************************************************************************************************

Brainwashed! is a new monthly night in a secret underground venue in Clerkenwell dedicated to mixing the best music of the last 50 years - from The Sonics to The Horrors, classic soul to the latest by Foals, and Johnny Kidd And The Pirates to, well, Pete And The Pirates. With appearances from the very best new live acts, special guest DJs, freaky psychedelic visuals and DJs playing everything from the latest indie to classic garage rock, this new Saturday event will be one to make a regular appointment with. Kicking off the night is a special live appearance from Lightspeed Champion, aka Dev Haynes. Formerly of cult indie act Test Icicles, Dev’s latest project, released by Domino records, sees him crafting timelessly melodic indie-pop. This guy will be huge in 2008, so catch him first now.

Hi Bazden,
thank you VERY much, that's much much more than I expected by posting the silly post above! If something comes of it, I'll be buying you drinks whenever I see you for the rest of your life (promise!).

Hiya Cloat (This is bazden)
Thats a mighty impressive CV/resume
I will have a search for you (no promises though) and see if there is anything that may be suitable. We get sent tons of vacancies from various jobsboards, and if anything looks decent I will email it onwards.
You are far too good for STARB**CKS :)

Least I forget: I am (and have been for 15 odd years now) a DJ, spinning contemporary Indie, Britpop and Sixties / Ska / Garage / Psyche classics. Very successful (300/500 punters every Fri/Sat) resident DJ at two Munich clubs (Cord Club / Substanz). Job offerings in this field also very much appreciated!

Doesn't anybody in London need two jobs? ;-)

My profession? Umm, I am (and have been for 12 years now) senior editor at a German magazine similar to Time Out, chief of a staff of about 15 people. Concepts, planning, writing, research, layout, webcontent – you name it, I can do it.
I am also a freelance musik journalist and have contibuted to numerous renowned German music magazines.
Moreover I studied photography and used to freelance (mostly band promos) but am a little short on equipment because my Hasselblad etc. got stolen when some f***** broke into my flat some years ago.

To tell you the plain and ugly truth: I'm well ready to work at Starbucks as long as the branch is situated in London.
