Saw the Farewell Tour at The Apollo in 1981 I think it was. Daltry ran onstage and continued running, non stop all night, whole songs on the wired mike, dead centre of the stage but running all the time, so impresssive. 2.5 hours or whatever it was. Don't know who the drummer was that night. Still listen to his early solo stuff from time to time too.

Thanks for the best wishes; something about this scooter - she feels lovely!

Been offered 'daft money' for the registration plate and times are hard at the minute but you know what, I'm going to leave her exactly as she is (OK will add a 12V kit and 'tickle' around a bit). My 'Lottie' doesn't get back from some minor work until Thursday - leaving it really late for Modstock and will have to pick her up en-route!

Can't wait or guess what beauty you'll be riding; we should be on my Banana Yellow LI125 Special with opposite angle Apple Green and Maroon side flashes on the front mudguard and engine panels; give us a wave John!

Cheers JP, Got 5 days at home and managed to get out twice on the scoot.

Plus stripped down my wee project the PX 200 EFL frame with T5 engine. which all panels and frame are with the painters just now, engine is in bits so hopefully back on the road in a few months.

I will be home for 3 weeks as from the 4th of June so I'll see you guys when I get home....
