“The only performance that makes it, that makes it all the way, is the one that achieves madness.”

"Druggies, beatniks, free love... A right piss-hole."

The Baron Von Sanderson and Madame Sweeting, hosts of infamous cabaret club night Die Freche Muse, invite you to join them in a Bacchanalian revel inspired by the Nic Roeg and Donald Camell 1970 cult film masterpiece 'Performance'. The film explores transformation and transition, where East London meets West London, where the criminal under-belly of 1960's London takes refuge in the bohemian world of hippy culture. Held in the historic vaults of Adam Street Club, enter a world where girls will be boys and boys can be whatever they want to be, where machismo and violence are transmuted through the prism of a trip.

Live music
Up-and-coming beat combo The ShoeStrung who will be paying homage to The Rolling Stones alongside their own sweaty, loud and unhinged rock and roll.

Performance art and burlesque
Dark, visceral, psychedelic performance art and burlesque from Suri Sumatra, Lydia Darling and Missy Macabre

Video installation and visuals
Tripped out visuals by Vienna/ London based artists David Altweger and Mira Loew.

DJ's
Rob Bailey of the New Untouchables and the legendary Caspar de la Mare spinning the best British 1960's psychedelia, beat, mod, rock and exotica known to mankind.

Plus so much more!

Sponsored by Babicka Original Wormwood Vodka with a free shot for every guest on arrival.

Dress Code
Strict beatnik/ hippy/ mod/ 1960's gangster
