Brighton Bank Holiday Sunday 

SCOOTER COMPETITION AND RIDEOUT

Scooter Competition is announced at 3pm SHARP. Categories are Best Vespa, Best Lambretta and Best Mod Scooter.

We then all leave for the rideout! So at 3.15pm we depart. Follow the white TV with chrome panels! 

Here's the route:

Head EAST on Madeira Drive (away from ‘Sealife’ Brighton) and ride all the way to the up ramp.

Turn right onto Marine Parade.

Continue along Marine Parade/ Lewes Road over the roundabouts.

IF THE WEATHER IS NOT SO GOOD, OR IF YOU DON’T FANCY RIDING ANOTHER 15 MILES:

Turn right into car park for Smugglers Rest pub

IF THE WEATHER IS GOOD/ FOR THOSE KEEN TO CONTINUE -

continue along A259 (name changes to Eastbourne Road )

Turn RIGHT onto Gilberts Drive towards Birling Gap.

Continue down the hill and follow the road around at Birling Gap to Beachy Head Road

Follow to Beachy Head Pub

Park up/relax/ride Stings GS off the cliff screaming ‘Bell Boy!’ (not advised)

The distance is approximately 21 miles one way/42 miles total
