 o the regulars who supported us down the years and will testify that 
 MOUSETRAP generates an atmosphere like no other. For those who have n
 ever been here is a little bit about the venue, a basement club with l
 ow ceiling, kicking soundsystem, wooden dancefloor with seating booths
  around the edge, a cloakroom and air conditioning.\nThe club started 
 life in the basement and then moved onto two floors with the SOUL LOF
 T and BEAT BASEMENT with a spiral staircase connecting the two floo
 rs. The club prospered for over a decade in this format before the gro
 und floor was sold and we returned to the basement only, with alternat
 e dances for the different music styles each month up to the present d
 ay.\nOver the last twenty five years Mousetrap music has been prolific
  with an abundance of new scene discoveries filtering up to the weeken
 ders and festivals with global appeal, sometimes filtering into the ma
 instream media via TV and Radio adverts.\nIn 1997 the MOUSETRAP labe
 l was born with a free 45 for each customer who attended the anniversa
 ry. On one side of the disc you will find a song from the ‘R&B dance
 s’ and on the flipside  a tune from our ‘Fuzz for Freaks’ playl
 ist including some unreleased gems. Some of these early releases are n
 ow commanding big money in their own right.\nSee below a list of all t

 sident DJ’s who helped me shape the MOUSETRAP soundtrack SPEED, CHRI
