 down the years and will testify that MOUSETRAP generates an atmosphe
 re like no other. For those who have never been here is a little bit a
 bout the venue, a basement club with low ceiling, kicking soundsystem,
  wooden dancefloor with seating booths around the edge, a cloakroom an
 d air conditioning.\nThe club started life in the basement and then mo
 ved onto two floors with the SOUL LOFT and BEAT BASEMENT with a sp
 iral staircase connecting the two floors. The club prospered for over 
 a decade in this format before the ground floor was sold and we return
 ed to the basement only, with alternate dances for the different music
  styles each month up to the present day.\nOver the last twenty five y
 ears Mousetrap music has been prolific with an abundance of new scene 
 discoveries filtering up to the weekenders and festivals with global a
 ppeal, sometimes filtering into the mainstream media via TV and Radio 
 adverts.\nIn 1997 the MOUSETRAP label was born with a free 45 for ea
 ch customer who attended the anniversary. On one side of the disc you 
 will find a song from the ‘R&B dances’ and on the flipside  a tun
 e from our ‘Fuzz for Freaks’ playlist including some unreleased ge
 ms. Some of these early releases are now commanding big money in their
  own right.\nSee below a list of all the MOUSETRAP releases.\nI’d
