new untouchables

21st century modernist & sixties underground music culture

Born and raised among puertorican Heritage in North Newark, New Jersey; Jaycee North brings an urban new sound influenced by new school hip hop, old school reggae Afro dance, and a touch of R&b. Growing up listening to J. cole, Michael Jackson, DMX, 50 cent and Drake gave Jaycee North a very versatile perception of melody and sound.

Writer, artist, vocalist, and most recently a student of the engineering and production process, Jaycee combines story telling with a catchy boy like use of metaphors and word play, finding the balance between mainstream and lyricism, but still keeping a party tempo with his upbeat flow.
