- I GOT INTO THE MOD SCENE BACK IN 79 VIA FROM BEING SUCH A WHO FAN, I STARTED BUYING IMPORT RECORDS BY ARTISTS LIKE THE VAPORS, THE JOLT, THE CORTINAS, THE HEAD BOYS, SEMMA 4 , THE CIRCLES AND MANY OTHERS THA HAD 45S OUT AT TH TIME, I LOVED THE JAM TILL 1982 NEEDLESS TO SAY, ITS VERY HARD HERE IN THE NYC AREA TO FIND FANS OF THE MOD REVIVAL. I BUY A LOT OF CDS THAT DIZ OVER AT DETOUR RECORDS PUTS OUT, I LOVE HIS MOD REVIVAL COMPS SO IM ALREADY GETTING INTO NEW MOD BANDS AS WELL AS OLD, IM NOW LISTENING TO THE 3RD EDITION OF THE LE BEAT BESPOKE CD, GREAT STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
