About Me:: My mother was a Mod, my father a Beat, I went to my first music festivals as a toddler with my then hippy parents, gracing my 1st Glastonbury in 1980. My Uncle, a Skin got me into the scene and I bought my first Lambretta LD at the tender age of 17. I have fronted a band with its roots in rhythm, presented music shows and do the odd stand-up gig. To this day I don't take myself too seriously and feel like an indie-Mod hybrid, favoring the wardrobe and wheels of a Modernist; (the current being a Sportique 64') but will happily dance to The Smiths when dropped in the club. To typify this way of life, this last month has seen Stevie Wonder, The JTQ & Paul Weller grace my social gig calender alongside the likes of Roxy Music and The XX. I dislike snobbery, elitism, small mindedness and pious trainspotters and love Italian knitwear, rideouts, jumping 45's, (smiling) Faces and freedom of expression.

Favourite Venue: The Strongrooms in these summer months; you can park your scoot & drink al fresco!

Fave things about ‘The Scene’: The clothes, the scooters, the effort, the music, the origins, history & heritage, the threads and the fact you have to be in it to 'get it'!
