Rhythm Factory in association with Ben Sherman and Tunetribe.com bring you a special christmas perfromance from seminal Ska group The Beat. Along with The Specials and Madness, The Beat established the Whole 2-Tone Ska Movement in 1978.
Tears of a Clown, The Beat’s first single (a cover of Smokey Robinson’s ‘67 classic) rocketed the group to No.6 in the UK charts and follow up the No.4 Ska anthem ‘Mirror In The Bathroom’ finding the group overnight success in the UK and US.

Having returned to the live scene in 2003 with a triumphant Royal festival Hall show, we are proud to bring The Beat’s final show of 2009 in association with Ben Sherman who’ll be supplying exclusive clothing giveaways and Tuntribe.com who’ll be giving away downloads and other goodies.
Expect a fun packed night with very special guests, a gaggle of brand new contenders for the Ska crown plus an exclusive Ska and blue beat DJ set from Acid Jazz label founder Eddie Pillar.
