Just to let you know that my recently restored Vespa GS150 VS5 is now for sale on gumtree.

As any true to there purist roots mod will tell you, the GS150 was the quintessential iconic mod scooter. By the time that the inferior GS160 (high production/lower quality and compromised design) came on the market, the true mod scene was all but over.

Not even run in, this GS has had ground up restoration at no expense spared. As a late 61 model it has a few original design specs differing to earlier that year. i.e.: seat design and rear light design.

It is most likely/possibly a GS150 VS5 rebadged as a Cushman in USA and for that reason it has the Cushman badge on leg shield..

Had just been tested/registered/licenced in Perth but now ready for the same in UK.

Ground up original spec restoration to high standard. Sourced in parts from USA and then restored in Perth, Western Australia by myself.

The iconic mod scooter GS150. (Not the later GS160, compromised on quality and design which was introduced after the real mod scene had finished)

No time wasters or fans of northern soul, Vespa P Range and two tone.

See gumtree for more pics. Only 6000 euros

Thank you…

Brighton mod weekender is the first test albeit a short trip from Dorset.

From Cherbourg we (yes two up) are buzzing past Normandy D Day landing beaches and hope to stay somewhere near Falaise/Flers/Sourdeval/Vire for our first night. From there it is a matter of avoiding main roads and big towns to travel through Chablis and up to Alps.
