Event Description

Clapham's one & only Northern Soul Club in action first Saturday every month. This night is steadily growing in popularity with its unique mix of Rare, Northern & Club Soul, Vintage Rhythm & Blues, Motown & Boogaloo delivered on original vinyl in the area's classiest pub - the beautifully refurbished Bread & Roses.

The venue is owned by Battersea & Wandsworth Trades Council & managed by the Workers Beer Company (Thirst Among Equals).

For March's show Shakeup residents Curt & Jon are delighted to welcome their special guest Shaun Arnold, from the legendary Walls of HeartacheClub. Shaun has an encyclopedic collection of soul music nurtured from the early days of the 100 Club Allnighters and is guaranteed to fill the floor with his ace selections!
