The Shakeup launched at The Bread & Roses in October 2015 - people said it'd never work south of the river! Let us tell you they were well wrong! Every month hosts Curtis Taylor & Jon Dabner bring top guest DJs to a smart & appreciative audience who share their passion for the finest music ever produced.

A diet of rare & northern soul, vintage rhythm n blues with shots of boogaloo, mod jazz & ska on the side delivered on original vinyl is highly nutritious & thoroughly recommended by Dr Soul!

The Shakeup Soul Club has been made to feel totally at home at The Bread & Roses, Trade Union owned & run by the fantastic staff of The Workers Beer Company (Thirst Among Equals!). 

So we gonna party & we cordially invite everyone who's been involved (plus anyone who wants to be!).

Our special guest will be the magnificent Jules Pallett who blew us all away when he played earlier in the year. The boss with the hot sauce!
