I really hope that you will join me for an epic party down in the basement at Orleans where we look back at the last 26 years of music at NUT's events.
Plenty of party choons alongside the current fave's.

Your name will be on the door when you arrive.
A Free shot and NU films early doors. Can you spot yourself as we explore the past 26 years events video footage?
Then IT's PARTY TIME when the DJ’s and dancers take over. NUT's DJ's Chris Dale, Lee Miller, Charles Whitehouse, Rob Bailey + Special guest Alan Handscombe.
The New Untouchables started in November 1997; Britpop was at its apex, new people who had become interested in our music and culture through this new genre because of the undeniable influences. The time was just right for a new surge of Mods and Sixties fans and The New Untouchables were there to encourage them with newsletters, club nights, festivals and weekenders, scooter runs, record fairs, markets and the relatively new phenomenon – the internet!
We have never been afraid to try new ventures. Locations have changed most notably from Isle of Wight to Brighton August Bank Holiday. Over the years we have promoted some of the biggest underground acts. In 1998 we reformed Mod gods The Action to perform with full original line-up. Ten years later The Sonics (first ever show outside their native USA), Arthur Lee & Love in 2005, the Stax Revue with Steve Cropper, Duck Dunn and Eddie Floyd in 2011. NU have also encouraged and supported dozens of new bands and DJs the last 26 years including The Strypes , The Horrors and Nick Waterhouse to name just a few.
In 2009 a bestselling book entitled ‘I’m One-21st Century Mod’s was released by Prestel. The award-winning photographer Horst R Friedrichs spent the last decade attending NUTS events all over the UK. His patience paid off with exhibitions and Worldwide recognition. Bringing the NU story right up to date, a new book by Dammo photography called ‘Through My Eyes’ featuring photos spanning the last decade of our Brighton Mod Weekender.
Of course, none of these things happen by magic it takes a passionate, dedicated team of people working behind the scenes, many sacrificing their own partying time to deliver the good times.
I would like to say a massive thank you to every one of you who has helped me over the years.
A big hug to you all, Rob Bailey, Sept 2023
