Duke Vin started his musical career working for Tom the Great Sebastian in the early 50s in Jamaica. He moved to England in 1954 where he started in 1955 what is commonly regarded as the country's first Sound System.

During the 60s Duke played at famous clubs such as the Marquee Club. He also played at The Flamingo, Ram Jam, Brixton Town Hall, Stoke Newington Hall, The Roaring Twenties and at blues dances competing in clashes with sounds such as Neville The Enchanter, Sir Coxonne, Count Suckle and others.

Duke Vin is rumoured to have one of the greatest collections of Jamaican music in the world. He is also famed for having the only existing copy of Derrick Harriot's tune 'The Tickler'.

Saturday:
showing the documentary Duke Vin, Count Suckle and the Birth of Ska in Britain - for the first time in Germany!

allnighter 23:00 - open end on two dancefloors (with view over the harbour of Hamburg)

Sunday:
Brunch - with DJs and fine food

For those who are not sure about these multi-genre events. It's a two roomed event with the soul being played in a completely different room to the ska/reggae.
