BRAND NEW MODS BOOK! - ‘I’M ONE’ - BRIGHTON BOOK LAUNCH!
Brighton Modernist/60s weekender 09, August bank holiday 28/29/30.
Yes we are excited. After the huge success of Brighton the last four years we are heading back to the Modernist spiritual home on August bank holiday. We have the best three venues in Brighton booked for your dancing delights and the launch of brand new Mod’s book called ‘I’m One’’ (21st Century Mod’s) with over 160 pages and 140 illustrations by the amazing photographer Horst R Friedrichs. Horst has spent the last twelve years documenting the current Mod scene and brings the Modernist story bang up to date with this high quality book with hard back cover and comment from Pete Townshend, Rob Bailey, Paulo Hewitt plus quotes from scene members. The exhibition with 15ft prints of some of the photos featured in the book will be displayed on the wall of Sea life next to our daytime venue the Volks and opposite the pier.
